Worked on enhancing SLURM plugin integration within the cedana/cedana repository, focusing on backend development and system programming using Go. Developed a direct installation path for SLURM plugins via the registry, streamlining deployment and reducing the risk of misconfiguration. Introduced dump and restore capabilities for the slurm_script, enabling comprehensive state capture and restoration, which supports more reliable and scalable plugin operations. Improved the restore process by refining cgroup management and state handling, and expanded test coverage to ensure robust restoration into new cgroups. These efforts collectively reduced deployment friction and laid groundwork for future cloud computing scalability in plugin management.
