Developed the NPU Return Routed Experts Enhancement for the kvcache-ai/sglang repository, focusing on improving the expert selection process within deep learning workflows. This feature enabled support for return routed experts in the NPU and introduced mechanisms to capture additional layer information, facilitating more accurate routing and deeper analytics. The implementation leveraged Python and integrated advanced machine learning concepts, utilizing feature flags and code instrumentation to ensure flexibility and maintainability. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this targeted enhancement to strengthen the system’s routing capabilities and set the stage for future analytical improvements.
