Worked on the kvcache-ai/sglang repository to deliver a cross-platform native default for MultiPlatformOp, focusing on improving compatibility and performance by switching forward_npu to use the native implementation by default. This approach reduced platform-specific discrepancies and simplified maintenance, resulting in more consistent behavior across different environments. The work involved native backend integration for NPU and emphasized cross-platform design principles, leveraging deep learning and machine learning expertise with Python as the primary language. Demonstrated end-to-end ownership from design through commit, ensuring disciplined, commit-driven delivery and contributing to faster execution paths and broader platform support within the codebase.
