Worked on the alicevision/Meshroom repository to streamline the Meshroom Batch command-line interface by removing the --cache option, thereby reducing user configuration steps and minimizing potential errors related to cache-path setup. Leveraged Python scripting and command line interface development skills to ensure the cache directory is now created and managed automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention. This update improved the reliability of automated pipelines and enhanced the experience for first-time users. The approach focused on aligning the CLI design with existing project conventions, supporting easier future maintenance and extension while maintaining code quality and consistency throughout the software maintenance process.
