Worked on branding consistency and sandbox policy alignment for the CMSgov/bluebutton-web-server repository, focusing on refining the Blue Button 2.0 product identity. Addressed redundant naming by removing the '2.0' suffix throughout the codebase, ensuring uniform branding across the application. Iterated on sandbox policy by initially restricting the use of 'Blue Button 2.0' in the sandbox environment, then reverting this constraint to restore previous behavior. Employed Django, Python, and CSS to implement these changes, documenting decisions at the commit level for improved traceability. The work emphasized maintainable code and clear audit trails for future updates to branding conventions.
