During September 2025, J. Jasloot delivered a complete Dutch localization for the Traewelling/traewelling repository, translating 869 user interface strings to enable a fully localized experience for Dutch-speaking users. Jasloot utilized Weblate to manage the translation workflow, ensuring consistency and scalability for future language support. The work focused on internationalization, integrating the new Dutch translations directly into the application and establishing a repeatable process for additional languages. By leveraging Weblate and applying expertise in localization, Jasloot addressed the need for broader accessibility, enhancing the app’s usability for a new audience and laying groundwork for ongoing multilingual development.
