Worked on the nginx/agent repository to enhance security and compliance automation within the CI/CD pipeline. Delivered a GitHub Actions workflow that automated daily Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, including conditional logic for non-fork repositories and improvements to workflow readability and token security. Utilized YAML and DevOps practices to streamline configuration, removing unused variables and clarifying artifact and service naming. In the following month, removed the now-obsolete SBOM workflow, reducing maintenance overhead and minimizing security risk by eliminating unnecessary Azure Key Vault secret retrieval. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to CI/CD pipeline management using Azure and GitHub Actions.
