Worked on the rdkcentral/firebolt-certification-app repository, delivering a critical update by upgrading the jsonschema dependency to its latest compatible version. This change improved validation reliability and prepared the platform for future upgrades, directly enhancing platform stability and supporting safer deployments. The approach involved careful npm dependency management, semantic versioning, and thorough validation of compatibility with downstream validation flows and CI/CD processes. JavaScript and Node.js were used to implement and test the update, while documentation was provided to outline the dependency management strategy.
