Worked on the bpg/terraform-provider-proxmox repository to enhance container automation by implementing support for the mknod() system call within container configurations. This addition enabled users to create and manage device nodes directly inside containers, addressing a key gap in container orchestration. The technical approach involved extending the existing schema to accurately represent device nodes, updating feature handling logic in the Go codebase, and ensuring comprehensive user and inline documentation reflected the new capabilities. Leveraging skills in Go, Terraform, and containerization, the work focused on improving reliability and flexibility for infrastructure automation without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
