Jialin Li developed a dynamic MQTT topic selection feature for EMQX’s Kafka Data Bridge, enabling users to specify MQTT topics through SQL parameters and improving message routing flexibility. Working in the emqx/emqx-docs repository, Jialin updated the data-bridge-kafka.md documentation to clarify Kafka Source SQL parameters and reflect the new feature, focusing on Markdown and technical documentation skills. This work reduced manual configuration and enhanced publish control, supporting safer and more scalable data flows within EMQX. Over the month, Jialin concentrated on feature delivery and documentation quality, demonstrating depth in both technical writing and understanding of EMQX’s data integration workflows.
