During April 2025, contributed to the UoaWDCC/motorsports repository by building the initial scaffolding for a volunteer feature, focusing on frontend development with Next.js and React using TypeScript and tsx. Developed and integrated a Volunteer button into the Navbar, establishing a clear navigation path to a newly created /volunteerPage. Implemented a placeholder VolunteerPage component to accelerate future enhancements and provide a foundation for user-facing volunteer initiatives. This work improved navigation clarity and set up the necessary routing infrastructure, enabling immediate user flow to volunteer content and laying the groundwork for expanded community engagement features in subsequent development cycles.
