Worked on the esmini/esmini repository to enhance the reliability and usability of its WebAssembly build and example user experience. Addressed build stability by refining the CMake configuration, ensuring all necessary include directories and source files were integrated for Emscripten compatibility. Improved the example HTML to support user-provided simulation assets and clarified browser compatibility, particularly noting limitations with Firefox’s directory API. Leveraged C++, JavaScript, and CMake to streamline the build process and front end integration, enabling smoother cross-browser testing and asset management. The work resulted in faster integration cycles and a more accessible simulation environment for end users and developers alike.
November 2025 (esmini/esmini): Key WASM-focused work delivering reliability and usability improvements. Completed WebAssembly Build Process Fix and WebAssembly Example UX Enhancements. These changes enhance build stability, cross-browser support, and user ability to run and test simulations with custom assets, driving faster integration and better end-user experience.
