Developed and integrated an LPEG-based text parsing enhancement for the Mudlet/Mudlet repository, establishing a grammar-driven foundation for advanced text processing in MUD environments. Leveraging Lua and the LPEG parsing library, the work enabled more sophisticated parsing capabilities beyond regular expressions, addressing the complexity of MUD text and improving both performance and stability. The implementation included cross-platform readiness, coordinating installer pipelines to ensure consistent binary distribution for Linux and macOS alongside existing Windows support. This feature reduced parsing bottlenecks, enhanced trigger reliability, and positioned Mudlet for future grammar-based features, demonstrating skills in library integration, dependency management, and cross-platform development.
