Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository to deliver Finnish localization for the Jellyfin Web UI, enabling Finnish-speaking users to interact with the application in their native language. Utilized a Weblate-driven workflow to manage and validate translation updates, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the user interface. Focused on front end development with an emphasis on internationalization and localization, leveraging JSON to structure and integrate the new language strings. This contribution laid the groundwork for broader multilingual support, improved accessibility, and removed language barriers for Finnish users, enhancing the overall user experience and supporting the product’s adoption in new regions.
