Worked on the nf-core/configs repository to deliver Nextclade dataset tagging and compatibility updates supporting SARS-CoV-2 and hMPXV workflows. Focused on configuration management using Groovy, the work introduced robust version-compatibility logic across multiple Nextclade releases and dataset configurations. Addressed backward compatibility by reverting a problematic commit and adjusting default dataset tags to older versions, while also parameterizing configurations to enable v3+ datasets across diverse environments. The technical approach emphasized maintainability and cross-version support, ensuring that new and legacy workflows could operate seamlessly. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a targeted and stable feature delivery.
