Developed a targeted provider discovery enhancement for the grafana/prometheus repository by implementing Hetzner Service Discovery with Label Selector Filtering. This feature introduced a label_selector parameter to API requests, enabling users to filter servers by labels for more precise and flexible server listings. The approach focused on backend development and API integration using Go, aligning with cloud services best practices. By reducing unnecessary data in dashboards, the solution improved discovery precision and streamlined monitoring workflows. Concise commit messages were used to support code review and ongoing maintenance, ensuring the enhancement fit seamlessly into the existing provider-specific discovery roadmap and infrastructure.
