Worked on integrating the EVS Agent into the Broadcast Orchestrator within the google/virtual-broadcast-production-assistant repository, focusing on backend development using Python. The integration enabled seamless communication between the orchestrator and the EVS Agent by registering the agent in the known agents list, which supports discovery and interoperability across the system. Default URL and API key environment variables were defined to standardize configuration and reduce setup complexity for future deployments. The work emphasized maintainable backend architecture and clear configuration management, addressing the need for scalable agent integration without introducing new bugs, and laying groundwork for further enhancements in broadcast automation workflows.
