During July 2025, John Burson focused on improving contributor guidance for the fairpm/fair-plugin repository by updating the TSC repository URL in the CONTRIBUTING.md file. He identified and corrected an outdated link, ensuring that contributors are directed to the correct governance resource within the FAIR project. This work involved careful use of Git-based version control and adherence to Markdown documentation standards, with clear and traceable commit messaging. Although the update did not involve functional code changes, it enhanced onboarding and governance alignment, reducing confusion for new contributors and demonstrating attention to repository hygiene and cross-repository coordination within the project.
