Worked on improving test reliability for the cloudfoundry/cloud_controller_ng repository by addressing flakiness in the Prometheus updater test suite. Focused on stabilizing the prometheus_updater_spec by ensuring the PROCESS_TYPE environment variable was properly cleaned up after each test execution. This approach reduced continuous integration flakiness, resulting in faster pull request validation and more dependable test outcomes for the Prometheus updater component. Utilized Go for test debugging and Ruby on Rails for integration within the codebase, applying DevOps practices to maintain environment isolation. The work emphasized commit-driven quality improvements and contributed to a more robust and maintainable testing infrastructure.
