The GitScraper revamp enables cloning repositories, parsing MkDocs configurations, scraping docs/, and indexing results, with integrated credential handling, secrets management, Docker Compose deployment, and robust filesystem cleanup. Security and reliability improvements include authentication verification, validation to prevent blank credentials, and safeguards around Git secrets retrieval and MKDocs repository handling. UI/UX improvements for prompts improved the selection experience with a dropdown, API-backed prompt name retrieval, and frontend population. Additionally, YAML-based Git integration configuration and updated documentation were added to the base config and User Guide.
