During September 2025, Ipaus contributed to the mit-submit/A2rchi repository by delivering an improved logging and benchmarking configuration. They refactored the codebase to centralize logging through a dedicated setup function, replacing print statements with a logger to enhance output management and observability. Using Python and YAML, Ipaus updated service configuration paths and refreshed dependencies in pyproject.toml to ensure greater stability. The benchmarking workflow was overhauled by migrating to HuggingFace models, introducing a new query set, and integrating RAGAS evaluation settings. This work improved the robustness and reproducibility of evaluation workflows, reflecting thoughtful application of configuration and dependency management.
