Worked on the flatcar/scripts repository to enhance secure boot configuration by introducing environment-variable-based parameterization for secure boot key paths. This approach replaced hardcoded values with dynamic configuration, improving both automation and security posture. Leveraging shell scripting and configuration management skills, the developer enabled environment-specific deployments and eliminated hard-coded secrets, making the process more adaptable and secure. The changes facilitated easier integration with CI/CD pipelines by allowing key paths to be set per environment. All modifications were delivered in a single, auditable commit, ensuring traceability and reviewability while focusing on system security and maintainable configuration practices throughout the project.
