Worked on the basecamp/omarchy repository to enhance the reliability and safety of shell scripts, with a focus on environment consistency. Addressed a zsh PATH-related bug in the ga() function by renaming a local variable, preventing accidental overwriting of the shell’s PATH and reducing the risk of environment-induced regressions in both development and CI pipelines. Collaborated closely with another contributor to ensure code quality and maintainability. The work prioritized stability over new feature development, emphasizing robust scripting practices. Utilized Bash and scripting skills to deliver a targeted fix that improved the overall dependability of the project’s shell script workflows.
