During October 2025, Juan Carlos Garza developed and integrated the Vesper Theme, featuring a dark mode with warm yellow accents, into the humanlayer/humanlayer repository. He ensured the theme was fully incorporated into the existing theming system by updating ThemeContext, ThemeSelector, and App.css, introducing new color variables for a cohesive user experience. Using React, TypeScript, and CSS, Juan Carlos also addressed navigation stability in the Slash Command List by resolving conflicts between keyboard and mouse interactions.
