Worked on stabilizing and improving the IDESIE/MBIM24_SQL repository by addressing a critical SQL comment parsing issue and performing a comprehensive codebase cleanup. Fixed a missing closing multi-line comment in a key SQL file, which improved code readability and parsing reliability. Focused on reducing technical debt by removing redundant and outdated code, simplifying the repository, and lowering the risk of future bugs. Utilized Java and SQL, applying skills in code cleanup and refactoring to create a more maintainable foundation. These efforts enabled safer and faster future feature delivery, setting the stage for increased development velocity in subsequent work.
