Worked on stabilizing and maintaining web scraping and front end functionality for the topmonks/hlidac-shopu repository over a two-month period. Addressed critical bugs affecting product image rendering on kosik.cz by correcting CSS selectors in JavaScript, which improved the reliability of image URL extraction and display on product pages. Subsequently, updated the Lidl.cz scraper to accommodate changes in site structure, refining CSS selectors to ensure accurate retrieval of item IDs, titles, prices, and images. Focused on end-to-end validation and code review, these efforts enhanced data reliability and user experience, demonstrating proficiency in front end development and web scraping techniques.
