Worked on the topmonks/hlidac-shopu repository to enhance Pilulka product data ingestion by implementing a sitemap-based loading workflow, replacing ad-hoc requests with a more reliable, region-aware process tailored for the Czech Republic. Focused on improving observability and debugging by adding targeted logging around sitemap loading, which streamlined issue diagnosis and supported future regional expansion. Addressed locale-specific extraction issues to ensure accurate data handling for Czech data sources. Modernized development tooling by upgrading Yarn, maintaining up-to-date package management without altering functionality. The work leveraged Node.js and JavaScript, applying web scraping techniques to improve data reliability and operational transparency.
