Worked on the ROCm/rocm-jax repository to update the installation script for compatibility with ROCm 7.0.0, focusing on improving the reliability and user experience of the installation process. The update involved modifying the repository URL and implementing dynamic logic to adjust repodir and rhel_minor variables in line with the new ROCm release structure. Python was used to script these changes, leveraging build systems and scripting skills to ensure seamless integration with the latest ROCm version. Additional code quality improvements included removing a redundant empty class and correcting a typographical error, contributing to a cleaner and more maintainable codebase.
