During December 2025, Alejandro Alarcón Jaramillo contributed to the grafana/helm-charts repository by updating the sidecar image tag in the project’s README to version 2.1.2. This targeted documentation change, implemented using YAML and leveraging skills in DevOps and Kubernetes, ensured that deployment instructions accurately reflected the latest sidecar release. By aligning the README metadata with the current release, Alejandro reduced the risk of deployment mismatches and improved traceability for users and collaborators. Although the scope was focused and did not involve bug fixes, the work enhanced deployment reliability and provided a clearer reference for future release management and support.
