During this period, contributed to the woodpecker-ci/woodpecker repository by developing a configurable workspace volume option for Kubernetes service pods. This feature allows users to disable the default workspace volume, providing greater flexibility and control over volume management in Kubernetes deployments. The work involved refactoring backend options structures and updating related functions to support the new configuration, as well as implementing comprehensive tests to ensure correct behavior. Utilizing Go for backend development and leveraging Kubernetes expertise, the changes addressed unnecessary storage usage and improved deployment consistency, resulting in a more adaptable and efficient environment for users managing service pods.
