Worked on enhancing localization support for the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository by delivering Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) translations for program data. Utilized JSON to add a new zh_Hant_HK translation entry, focusing on improving accessibility and user experience for Hong Kong users. The translation update was managed through Weblate, ensuring that future localization changes remain traceable and maintainable. This work addressed region-specific needs and reduced ongoing localization support overhead. Skills applied included front end development, localization, and translation, laying the groundwork for broader regional language support and contributing to the long-term maintainability of the Jellyfin Web project’s internationalization efforts.
