Contributed to the usdot-fhwa-OPS/V2X-Hub and connectedvcs-tools repositories by building and enhancing features for V2X messaging, deployment security, and system interoperability. Delivered multi-message support and real-time WebSocket streaming for pedestrian data, standardized plugin ports, and improved performance analysis through UI-driven log selection. Addressed cross-platform deployment issues, including ARM64 compatibility and Docker-based SSL certificate handling, while resolving bugs related to logging, file permissions, and protocol parsing. Leveraged C++, Python, and shell scripting to implement backend services, plugin development, and DevOps automation, focusing on maintainability, cross-architecture reliability, and secure, scalable deployment workflows across diverse environments.
April 2026 was focused on reliability, cross-platform consistency, and dev/deploy stability for the V2X-Hub repository. The month delivered two high-impact fixes with broad business value, plus ongoing hardening of cross-OS deployment workflows.

March 2026: Delivered a UI-based enhancement to the V2X Hub Messaging Performance Analyzer in usdot-fhwa-OPS/V2X-Hub, enabling users to select source and destination log files directly via the UI. This work, anchored by commit 66d3e747f829a94c12d37527bbbc9e24044bb2c6, introduced JSON parsing changes, percentile calculation options, and minor fixes, expanding analysis to multiple log sources beyond fixed V2X Hub/RSU transmissions. The feature reduces manual steps, accelerates performance diagnostics, and improves analysis accuracy by supporting flexible data inputs. Validation included end-to-end testing with V2X Hub logs and decoded RSU logs, ensuring reliability across environments. This aligns with performance goals and broadens data-source coverage for performance analytics.

November 2024: Delivered two high-value capabilities across critical messaging platforms, enhancing interoperability readiness and system responsiveness. Specifically, implemented a configurable Immediate Forward Plugin in V2X-Hub to support TxMode and Signature fields for Active Message File generation, based on Plugfest testing and user feedback. Also optimized performance in carma-platform by removing an unnecessary fixed sleep in msgIntersect.py, reducing latency while preserving existing behavior.
