Worked on stabilizing the initial project configuration and testing environment for the sinfin/folio repository, focusing on improving reliability for new project onboarding and streamlining continuous integration processes. Addressed configuration management by upgrading gem dependencies to version 6.1.3 and refining the testing database setup to ensure consistent test results. Simplified the codebase by removing redundant environment variable checks related to JWPlayer and Mux, and cleaned up test helper files to accelerate local development. Utilized Ruby and Ruby on Rails, with an emphasis on gem management and configuration best practices, resulting in a more maintainable and developer-friendly project foundation.
