Worked on Automattic’s harper and jetpack repositories, delivering targeted features and stability improvements over two months. Developed robust popup reconnection and iframe form integration for dynamic editing environments, focusing on reliability and maintainability using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Rust. Enhanced spell-check performance by optimizing FstDictionary and introducing benchmarking to assess misspelling scenarios. In the jetpack repository, stabilized the Reader Chat test suite by conditionally skipping asset-cache tests in debug environments, reducing false negatives and improving CI feedback cycles. Emphasized regression and unit testing throughout, ensuring that new features and fixes aligned with development workflows and improved overall code quality.
