Worked on the apache/ozone repository to enhance the stability of multipart upload flows by addressing a critical bug that caused crashes when overwriting empty files during multipart completion. Applied backend development skills in Java to implement a safeguard against null OmBucketInfo, preventing NullPointerExceptions in the Object Manager. Expanded automated test coverage using the Robot Framework to ensure the fix was robust, particularly across the File System Optimizer path. This work improved production reliability for cloud storage operations by reducing crash-related incidents and support overhead, demonstrating a focus on both code quality and comprehensive testing within a complex distributed storage environment.
