Worked across multiple GenomicDataInfrastructure repositories to enhance data discovery, licensing compliance, and observability. Delivered dataset discovery filtering by themes and publishers in the gdi-userportal-dataset-discovery-service, refactoring the discovery flow and updating configuration for improved user experience. Addressed licensing compliance by integrating SPDX identifiers and copyright notices, and fixed publisher and creator name indexing in gdi-userportal-ckanext-gdi-userportal using robust JSON parsing. In the gdi-userportal-frontend, implemented OpenTelemetry-based observability for development environments and automated environment-specific configuration loading with Docker and Node.js. Leveraged TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to improve maintainability, compliance, and debugging efficiency across backend and frontend components.
