Worked on the ansible/eda-server repository to deliver an Activation Management feature focused on improving the activation lifecycle. Developed backend enhancements using Python and Django REST Framework, enabling users to update existing activations and duplicate them to create new ones. Refactored serializer and API view logic to support these workflows, increasing maintainability and supporting downstream automation. Introduced an 'edited_at' timestamp to provide a clear audit trail for all activation changes, enhancing auditability and lifecycle agility. The work emphasized robust API development and backend design, resulting in safer provisioning and more transparent activation management without addressing major bug fixes during the period.
