Worked on the projectcalico/calico repository to enhance the reliability of Tigera Operator deployments in Kubernetes environments. Addressed a specific challenge with DNS resolution in Amazon EKS by introducing a configurable dnsPolicy within the Helm chart’s values.yaml file. This change allowed users to tailor DNS policies for the operator deployment, ensuring robust service discovery and smoother integration with EKS DNS requirements. The implementation was delivered as a single, auditable commit, demonstrating a focused approach to infrastructure as code and DevOps practices. Utilized YAML for configuration management and applied expertise in Kubernetes operator deployment and cloud-native infrastructure customization.
