During July 2025, K. Beres enhanced the Performance Profiler in the microsoft/BCApps repository, focusing on backend development and performance profiling using AL. Beres implemented new SQL metrics that display SQL call duration, the number of SQL calls, and a platform call duration calculation, providing more granular insights into SQL performance within sampled AL frames. This targeted feature enables faster identification of database bottlenecks and supports more informed optimization decisions. The work maintained strong code quality and traceability, aligning with quarterly performance goals.
