Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository to deliver custom subnetwork support for node pools in multi-subnet clusters, enhancing network flexibility for users deploying on Google Cloud. The engineering effort involved updating the node pool resource schema and implementing comprehensive tests to ensure correct subnet assignment during node pool creation. By leveraging Go and Terraform, the work improved deployment reliability and reduced the risk of misconfiguration in complex cloud infrastructure environments. The focus on schema changes and validation tests addressed a key need for multi-subnet topologies, enabling more precise network configurations and supporting robust, scalable infrastructure management for cloud-native applications.
