
Contributed targeted feature enhancements to the Shopify/dawn repository over a two-month period, focusing on both performance and accessibility. Developed an image loading optimization for the featured collection page using JavaScript and Liquid, implementing a threshold-based strategy to avoid lazy loading above-the-fold images while conditionally enabling it for others, which improved initial render times and visual balance. Later, delivered accessibility improvements to the product page by adding ARIA labels and refining label associations, ensuring better support for assistive technologies. All changes were documented, tested, and aligned with repository standards, demonstrating a methodical approach to front-end and theme development.
