Developed enhanced observability features for the aquasecurity/terraform-provider-aquasec repository by implementing Prometheus metrics exposure for enforcer groups. This work introduced the enable_enforcer_group_prometheus flag within the Terraform provider schema, allowing users to configure and monitor enforcement-group performance directly from their Terraform configurations. The technical approach involved updating the API client payload, evolving the provider schema, and revising documentation to support the new capability. Leveraging skills in Go, Terraform, and cloud security, the developer delivered end-to-end integration of Prometheus metrics, laying the foundation for improved monitoring and alerting without introducing new bugs during the development period.
