Worked on the aquasecurity/terraform-provider-aquasec repository to address a critical regression in API key authentication, focusing on improving the reliability and security of provider initialization. Using Go and leveraging skills in API development and testing, implemented changes that decoupled API key usage from traditional username and password authentication, allowing API keys to function independently as credentials. Enhanced validation logic to ensure proper credential handling and expanded regression test coverage to prevent future issues. These updates reduced runtime errors for users relying on API key authentication and streamlined configuration for automated workflows, contributing to a more robust and maintainable provider codebase.
