Worked on enhancing the Yafut tool within the coolsnowwolf/immortalwrt repository by delivering a cross-platform compatibility update focused on build system management. Addressed the need for broader platform support by upgrading Yafut to a newer version, removing a Linux-specific patch, and updating the Makefile to reflect the new version and hash. This approach enabled successful builds on macOS and improved POSIX compatibility, reducing build failures and increasing release consistency. Utilized Makefile expertise and cross-platform development skills to ensure reliable and traceable builds, ultimately expanding the tool’s usability across different operating systems without introducing new bugs during the update period.
