Worked on the aws-deadline/deadline-cloud-for-maya repository to deliver robust input validation for the Frame Range field in the Maya submitter UI. Using Python and Qt, implemented logic that restricts input to valid characters such as digits, colons, dashes, commas, and whitespace, directly addressing the risk of invalid frame range submissions. Developed an accompanying unit test to ensure the validation logic remains reliable and to increase overall test coverage. This feature improved data integrity for Maya job submissions and reduced the likelihood of downstream scheduling errors, reflecting a focus on UI development, automated testing, and maintaining high standards for data quality.
