Worked on the woodpecker-ci/woodpecker repository to enhance observability and filtering within CI/CD pipeline runs. Developed a feature that adds metadata labels for commit branch and event type to pipeline workflow items, enabling more precise filtering and faster debugging of pipeline pods. Implemented the label population logic during the pipeline build process using Go, and ensured reliability by introducing a dedicated unit test to validate correct labeling. Focused on backend development and CI/CD pipeline logic, the work improved the ability to analyze and debug CI executions by making key metadata available for filtering and monitoring throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
