
Worked on the viamrobotics/rdk repository to enhance object detection capabilities by improving data consistency and interoperability. Developed features in Go that normalized bounding box coordinates, ensuring object detection outputs remained resolution-agnostic and compatible across various perception pipelines. Further advanced the system by implementing end-to-end image resizing alignment for machine learning vision inputs, aligning inference data with model requirements and updating detection output formatting accordingly. Introduced a mock model and comprehensive tests to validate resizing accuracy and bounding box correctness. Focused on computer vision, API development, and testing, these contributions established a more robust and verifiable object detection workflow.
