Worked on the aws-mwaa/upstream-to-airflow repository to enhance the Airflow UI’s internationalization capabilities, focusing on localization improvements for the search feature. Delivered a Korean translation for the 'no matches' message, ensuring users receive contextually accurate feedback in their native language. Established a localization-ready foundation to support future internationalization efforts, emphasizing maintainability and scalability in the UI codebase. Utilized front end development skills and JSON to implement the translation, integrating it seamlessly into the existing interface. The work addressed a specific usability gap for Korean-speaking users and laid the groundwork for broader localization support in the project’s user interface.
