Using FastAPI, Python, and SQL, they designed and implemented database models, API routes, and schema definitions to support submitting, listing, retrieving, and updating ban forms. The API features a status-based approval workflow and automates the unban process upon approval, reducing manual administrative tasks. By focusing on backend development and database management, Kingmanatea ensured the workflow is auditable and user-friendly. The work addressed the need for a streamlined, maintainable ban appeal process, enhancing both administrative efficiency and the user experience.
