Developed and delivered Multi-Queue I/O support for SCSI disks within the bpg/terraform-provider-proxmox repository, enabling enhanced performance and scalability for Proxmox-based virtual machine workloads. The work involved introducing a new queues option to the VM configuration, allowing multiple I/O queues to reduce storage path contention and support larger, more demanding workloads. Leveraging Go for backend development, the implementation included comprehensive acceptance tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions. The feature was fully integrated through code review and collaboration, establishing a foundation for future optimizations. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with focus placed on robust feature delivery.
